The Causes Of IBS According To The Wisdom Of Ancient Oriental Doctors

Legendary doctors of the Orient uncovered the causes of IBS by observing people endlessly to discover the behaviors that lead to the problem.

I'm keeping this short and sweet, but consider each one deeply - you'll most likely see yourself somewhere in this page. And keep in mind...

... if you truly want to get over this horrible problem - you must not engage in behavior that can keep causing it.

Even if you can't understand how these causes of IBS could make your problem happen, believe me... they do. The ancient oriental doctors were much wiser than you probably imagine.

So, here goes...

Cause #1 is emotional stress.

The stress destroys the functioning of your internal organs. And that's why you have this problem - because your internal organs aren't functioning properly... right?

The most effective treatment for that is, by far, meditation. It's much more powerful than you probably imagine. And research proves it. That's why it's so popular in other countries.

So, buy a book. Take a class. Do whatever it takes, but do it every day.

Cause #2 is wrong diet

Use the Chinese Dietary Principles

Here's a quick summary -

Eat a diet composed primarily of:

  • A large variety of cooked vegetables (fresh, lightly cooked, big variety)
  • Whole grains (brown rice, buckwheat and millet are all good)
  • Animal protein (small amounts, more like a condiment than a main course)
  • Water (room temperature - green tea is o.k. for most of us, too.)

To get good effect, stay away from everything else until you recover (especially dairy, sweets, cold foods, fruit juices and oily-greasy foods.)

This may be one of the most effective things you can do (you must be patient with it.)

Other causes:

  • Overwork
  • Too little exercise
  • Exposure to cold weather
  • Excess sex (yes, that is possible!)
  • Drugs

Avoid them and the other causes of IBS on this page.

You can get over this problem. It takes effort and discipline... but that's a lot better than living with IBS for years.
