For spastic colon, I take Caprylic Acid if diarrhea has been bothering me for a few days. Sometimes it gets worse before it gets better, but it usually works. Soothes the gut.Start with one 350 mg. capsule and judge what you need. Go slowly. It could give you the runs.
This website was a real find for me today. Already, I went back to doing my modified Yoga I gave up a year ago. Dutifully ate my cooked brown rice with cooked vegetables for breakfast and took a shower massage and hand massage to abdomen and lower back. It's all good! Next, I'll have to do acupuncture. I printed up the Natural Remedy Sheet and will get some ginger and rice vinegar as well. I do wonder, would apple cider vinegar be an even exchange for rice vinegar?
I take enteric-coated peppermint capsules. They haven't been magical for me; however, Bigelow peppemint tea keeps my colon more relaxed than it otherwise would be.
I take Panplex-2 enzymes and am trying to take it with everything I eat to jumpstart the pancreas to release enzymes on its own.
My IBS came from a fall I took two years ago and it has been a long road just to make the colon work at all. I used choline 400mg with phosphaditylserine 100mg (can't name the company due to submission guidelines) to get the colon to do peristalsis at all. Took fifteen months. That was last November when it started working daily on its own,(I did extensive Liver cleanse as well for four months) and I like to say my intestines do their job, but it sounds like the car in 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'. Enough about me. I do other things, too,but I thought this would help.
