magnesium is the single most helpfull supplement I have ever found to relieve my constipation. About 400mg a day before bed. I still do go through phases where I don't have regular bowel movements, but overall it really works. I had been constipated my entire life before discovering magnesium, but now I am pretty much regular. Coffee also helps in the morning too! But I plan to stop that habit one day...!
