An effective and natural asthma remedy?

If you're not sure that Oriental medicine has an effective natural asthma remedy, or if drugs haven't helped your asthma, then think about this:

  • A study showed over 70% of folks with chronic asthma reported significant improvement after ten weeks of acupuncture treatment. (1)
  • An asthma study using an oriental herbal medicine indicated that symptoms (cough, sputum production, chest pain, weakness, etc.) were markedly improved and pulmonary function was significantly enhanced. (2)
  • The World Health Organization (this is no second rate organization) includes asthma on its list of conditions that can benefit from acupuncture.

Why use a natural asthma remedy?

Well, besides effectiveness, the lack of serious side effects is a pretty good reason.

Take a quick look at this list of the awful problems that can be caused by many asthma medications:

Heart palpitation, potentially fatal heart complications, worsening of diabetes, candidacies near the oropharynx and/or larynx. psychotic reactions, muscle cramps, liver dysfunction, headaches, tremor, agitation, increased heart rate, high blood pressure, heart beat irregularities, chest pain, worsening of bronchospasm (life-threatening), allergic reactions, anaphylaxis (also life-threatening)

Whew! That’s just the beginning!

How can a natural asthma remedy work when conventional treatment won't?

Good question. Try to follow the logic here…

Reason #1

Oriental medicine understands asthma differently than conventional medicine. We see different "patterns" occurring in folks with asthma.

  1. You may have a lot of phlegm.
  2. Friend "A" has little or no phlegm.
  3. Friend "B" has mostly signs of general weakness such as fatigue, shortness of breath, shallow breathing and heart palpitations.
  4. Friend "C" has low back pain, debility, weak knees, and urinary and/or reproductive problems.

All of you have been diagnosed with asthma, but you all have different things going on in your bodies (a.k.a. "patterns"). Therefore, you should be treated for your "pattern", not just for asthma.

Unlike conventional medicine, Oriental medicine does just that.

The goal of Oriental medicine is to correct the "pattern" that's happening specifically in you.

That might sound like a subtle difference, but it makes a world of difference in treatment results. That's why it often works when nothing else does.

Reason #2

The only thing that cures you is your body's own healing mechanisms.

Every cut, pain, flu, or headache you've ever had has recovered because of your body's own healing mechanisms.

Hundreds of years ago, doctors in China developed techniques that trigger your body's self-healing potential to bring it into the internal stability needed to survive (a.k.a. "homeostasis.")

These techniques and remedies can stimulate stronger neuroimmunological response than any other modality can produce or duplicate. They effectively normalize your physiologic processes to activate self-healing.

Drugs treat symptoms - they don't trigger your bodies own healing mechanisms. And, since only your body can heal itself, drugs don't (and never will) heal your asthma.

And that is why I use the natural asthma remedy based on Oriental medicine in my clinic.

What's the best natural asthma remedy I can try at home?

The best natural asthma remedy is to use all the available techniques from Oriental medicine.

On my asthma patients, I use acupressure (or acupuncture), diet, herbs, exercises, lifestyle changes and a couple unusual (but very effective) techniques called Chinese cupping and moxibustion.

Since there are various "patterns" of asthma, I can only give you some general treatment recommendations here.

Important - Do not underestimate these techniques just because they seem simple.

Oriental medicine can be deceptively simple. Remember - I use these on patients all the time and they work.

Lets start with:

Chinese Dietary technique

A quick, down and dirty summary -

Eat a diet composed mainly of:

  • Cooked vegetables (A big variety)
  • Some whole grains, but avoid gluten grains (wheat, rye, barley and oats). Brown rice is good
  • Small amounts of animal food (like a condiment, not a main course)
  • Drink only room temperature or warm water (some green tea is o.k.)

To get good effect, stay away from everything else until you recover (especially dairy, sweets, cold foods and oily-greasy foods.)

If you happen to have eczema (often goes along with asthma), avoid shellfish, spinach, mushrooms, alcohol, fried and spicy foods.

Chinese Herbal Remedies For Asthma

Some of these herbal remedies for asthma are hundreds of years old and have helped millions of people.

Commonly used in China, this natural asthma remedy is an important part of treatment in my clinic, and is geared to the specific "pattern" of asthma going on in you.

Acupressure

The appropriate acupressure points depend on the "pattern" of asthma you have. Unfortunately, I can't explain that in-depth on a website.

But, you can still try these and you may be very surprised by their effectiveness in time.

Apply medium pressure to cause slight aching (never painful), for a minimum 60 seconds / 3 X day, with your finger, thumb or knuckle to:

Pt 1 - At your elbow crease, just lateral to the big tendon in the center of the crease (locate with your palm up).

Pt 2 - Starting from the web between your big and second toe, go up your foot about 1 ½ to 2 inches to a point before your first and second metatarsals (foot bones) meet.

Pt 3 Halfway between the big protruding bone on the inside of your ankle (called your inner malleolus) and you Achilles' tendon. This is only a small (but effective) part of the natural asthma remedy protocol I use.

I've got plenty more effective methods to treat you with, as well as an instructional program similar to the one I use in my clinic, that you can use at home.

My goal is to make these treatments known and available to everyone. Health doesn't belong to doctors. There's no reason for you to suffer when there's an effective natural asthma remedy available.

I've used this natural asthma remedy on (and taught it to) many people just like you. They use it because it works.
