Trigger Foods

by Anonymous

I think mainly avoiding trigger foods and overeating are the best way to avoid constipation. If I dont eat right I always get constipated.

Triggers:
Over-eating
Too little water
Little to no excersize
Weight gain
Chips, Pizza, Too much carbs
Too much red meat
Sometimes eating too little or not frequently enough
also causes constipation.

How I know Im constipated:
For many years I didnt even know the signs.
Flatulence but no stool
Stomache ache
sensitive stomache
bloating

If we all knew how important it was to go number 2 we'd seriously be like the old people taking are fiber. People can die from constipation. You can get poo build up. Its not good. Its called a fecal impaction it is very painful. 4 years and under also have trouble with constipation. It could be the reason for thier latest temper tantrum. So fiber, fiber, fiber.

Selium husk is found in many of those fiber mixes. Some people take them every day to help things along.

When your really struggling milk of magnesia is good but not often. You should have a bowel movement at least every two days. If you havent had one in at least two-three days Id take something. If your prone to constipation nothing to be embarassed about PLEASE talk to your doctor. Or, at the very least take fiber every day.
